MUMBAI: There’s no doubt that Nayanthara is one of the biggest names down South. She is called the Lady Superstar because she has been a part of multiple super hits and blockbuster movies. The actress has also carried movies on her shoulders easily.
But, of course, the pandemic has changed the box office dynamics. After the pandemic, Nayanthara’s films like Annaatthe (Tamil), Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal (Tamil), Godfather (Telugu), and Gold (Malayalam) were released at the box office, and the only film that did well at the box office was Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal which also starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Sethupathi.

Connect is a Tamil film, and it will be dubbed and released in Telugu and Hindi as well. The Tamil and Telugu versions are slated to hit the big screens on 22nd December 2022, and the Hindi version will release on 30th December 2022.
So, Connect is a test of Nayanthara’s stardom. After the pandemic, it’s the first film that she is carrying on her shoulders.
