MUMBAI: When Dhanush and Aishwarya announced their split two years ago, people were taken aback. The couple has been living apart, but they did not get divorced right away. Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Dhanush recently decided to go through with the separation process and filed for divorce. Furthermore, according to the most recent sources, the ex-couple has decided to part ways amicably and on a good note. They want their separation to be free of any unpleasant drama.

According to a source in the well-known news portal, neither of them wants to argue in court or engage in any kind of mud-slinging, therefore the divorce won't be unpleasant. Now that circumstances have changed, Dhanush and Aishwarya have come to terms with their inability to be together. They would want a peaceful divorce because they only have respect for each other.

Primarily, the custody of the children goes to the mother. Hence, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth will get custody of Yatra and Linga. Dhanush will not be contesting it. The focus is to sort things out calmly. Even if Dhanush is not contesting for custody, he will always be there for his children, states the report quoting a source.

In 2004, Dhanush and Aishwarya tied the knot. Yatra and Linga, their two kids, were born in 2006 and 2010. the two of them made their breakup public in January 2022. The couple has now decided to move forward with the legal process after healing from their separation.

Regarding Dhanush's career, he was most recently a part of Captain Miller. Now, he is working on Raayan and Kubera. Dhanush will direct Raayan himself. Among the other actors in the film are Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan. Sekhar Kammula, the director of Kubera.
