Nithya Menen said, “I was actually getting ready to have my lunch. I was with my writer and my producer. We were discussing a new project that we were going to start and I was very excited about that project and I was getting ready to talk about it. So we decided we’ll have lunch and after that we’ll have our session. We were at my house. They had served themselves and I served myself. I was about to keep my food down and I was about to start eating and Dhanush called me...He said congratulations! Toh it was out of the blue.”
When she was asked who was the first person she called to share this news, the actress said, “I didn’t call anybody because after that call I (her phone) set it aside and put it on silent as I had a day to go through so I just continued with my day.”
