Tellychakkar got in touch with Rishab Shetty and got to know about his ‘first times’.

When was your first audition and what was it for?

The character was small. I was never selected in auditions. I don’t remember the name but it was a Kannada film.

How did you feel the first time when you saw yourself on a big hoarding?

It was Rakshit’s first movie (Tuglag) as a lead. I played a villain's role in that and one of the posters had my image on it.

When did you feel like you were a star?

I still don’t feel that.

Tell us about your fan moment?

I had a lot of it, two of them being meeting Sudeep sir and Rajnikanth sir for the first time.

Tell us about the time when you either wrote or received a love letter?

People write letters on Twitter and post it online, those are the only letters. Before that, during my last film, which was a children’s film, a fan wrote a letter and they could watch the movie after it came on OTT. So, they sent the letter with a Rs.200 note, saying that since they couldn’t see it in the theatre, here’s the money. That was special.
