MUMBAI: Rajinikanth is one of the biggest stars of India. His stardom and star power is indisputable. With an extensive fan base, Rajinikanth is regarded as one of the most renowned actors in the movie industry. Everyone wants to work with Rajinikanth, also known as Thalaivar. The actor has featured in over 160 films in a 45-year career.

Rajinikanth grew up speaking Marathi and Kannada at home and while the actor is known and loved for his heroic roles, we should know that he started off doing anti-hero roles.

We got to watch the superstar’s amazing performance in his latest movie Jailer. The actor has given us some amazing performances in movies like Enthiran, Annaatthe, Sivaji: The Boss, Darbar, Robot and many more.

He is the first Indian actor who has worked with various camera technologies like black and white, color, 3d, and motion pictures.

The actor has really lived a wholesome life as he has struggled a lot in his starting days and made his way up in the industry, which is why people connect to him.

In the 1990s, the actor gave some commercial hits like Panakkaran, Athisaya Piravi, and Dharma Durai. He then teamed up with the legendary director Mani Ratnam for the movie Thalapathi.

The experience was tough for Rajinikanth but he made it. He then joined hands with Suresh Krissna for Annamalai which was the first film to have the title card Super Star RAJNI. It even had a music theme like James Bond.

Rajinikanth and Suresh Krissna teamed up the second time for the movie Baasha, which earned Rajinikanth a god-like status in Tamil Nadu and some other South states.

Rajinikanth’s impact was not just nationwide but even internationally. He has a loyal fan base in Japan because of his movie Muthu. At a time when Leonardo DiCaprio was on their minds, Rajinikanth gave a tough competition and replaced him.

Rajinikanth, in the late 1990s, appeared in a movie Padayappa which was a mass action movie.

This is how he started from the bottom and made it to the top.
