
MUMBAI: On the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), his grandsons Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram visited NTR Ghat to pay their respects. The brothers, continuing their long-standing tradition, offered prayers, laid floral tributes, and spent some quiet moments in remembrance of their iconic grandfather. This annual visit on both his birth and death anniversaries reflects their deep reverence and connection to NTR’s legacy.
Earlier today, Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram arrived at the memorial together. Jr NTR, who will be seen in the upcoming film War 2, was greeted by a crowd of enthusiastic fans. Taking a few moments to interact with them, he acknowledged their support with warm gestures.
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, fondly remembered as NTR, remains a towering figure in Indian cinema and politics. With a filmography that spans nearly 300 titles, he earned immense admiration for his powerful roles and versatile performances. His contribution to Indian cinema was recognized with three National Awards. After a prolific career on screen, NTR entered politics and served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for a total of seven years across three separate terms. His influence continues to be felt in both fields.
