Must Read! Game Changer title announcement has no mention of Kiara Advani; why does South forget their female leads?

MUMBAI :Shankar’s next starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in the lead role was tentatively titled RC15. But, today on Ram Charan’s birthday, the makers have announced the official title of the film. It is titled Game Changer and Ram Charan took to Twitter to share the title announcement video with his fans.

Well, it’s a very interesting video, and it looks like Shankar's directorial is a political drama. However, one thing that has grabbed our attention is that apart from tagging Kiara on social media, the makers have not mentioned her name anywhere in the announcement video. Not just that on YouTube, in the title also her name is not mentioned.

Kiara is one of the popular faces in the Indian film industry and has been a part of successful films. But, it’s very surprising that she has not been mentioned in the announcement video anywhere. At the end of the video, the makers have given credit to all the technical crew including the choreographers, but Kiara’s name is not there.

It’s clearly saddening to see that South filmmakers forget their female leads. It’s not just about Game Changer, but even in the past, this has happened that during an announcement video or the teaser, the female lead’s name was not there.

South filmmakers do make their female leads special by sharing their first look or a teaser revolving around them on their birthday, but then when it comes to the whole film, we cannot ignore the fact that it is mainly the male star who gets all the attention.
