MUMBAI: Tollywood actress Swathi Reddy garnered fame with her hit Telugu show Colours. She got her big break with the 2008 Tamil film Subramaniapuram. Reddy however, has been in the news lately for her ongoing divorce rumors with hubby Vikas Vasu. The duo tied the knot in 2018 and the rumors of trouble in their marriage began when the actress deleted all her wedding pictures.

Swathi, who is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming film Month of Madhu, responded about the divorce rumors that have gone viral since a while. Mentioning that she would not comment on her personal life, Swathi said, “Nenu Ivva (I won’t give an answer). I started my career at 16, and I didn’t know how it would have been if social media existed back then. I didn’t know how to conduct myself. But, now, I have some rules and regulations as a professional actor. I feel it’s not related to the event. I will not say anything about my personal life. So, I choose not to answer your question.”

Earlier when asked about the deleted wedding picture from her social media page, Swathi had said that she has nothing to say about it. She will however speak if she feels the need to. 

Swathi and Vikas met through a common friend and the latter was completely smitten by the actress. Although she kept her distance from him, he pursued the relationship and she eventually gave in too. The couple tied the knot in August 2018 in Hyderabad.
