MUMBAI : 2023 started with many big announcements in the Indian film industry. In Bollywood, the first look of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal was released, and in Tollywood, Nani's next film which is tentatively called Nani30 was announced. 

It was one of the cutest movie announcements, and Mrunal Thakur has been roped in to star opposite Nani in the film. Mrunal started her career with television and later moved her way towards Bollywood. She has featured in a few Hindi films, but last year’s release Sita Ramam has surely given Mrunal’s career a big boost. 

Sita Ramam was a Telugu film that also starred Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. The film became a hit at the box office, and Mrunal’s performance in it was appreciated a lot.

Now, South moviegoers are excited to watch her in Nani30 and they are calling her the ‘new Mahanati’ of Telugu cinema. Talking about other films, Mrunal, the actress will be seen in Pippa, Aankh Micholi, and Gumrah. Pippa will reportedly release on OTT. However, there’s no official announcement about it. The film also stars Ishaan Khatter and Priyanshu Painyuli in the lead roles. 

Meanwhile, Nani has Dasara lined up which also stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. It is one of the most awaited films of 2023, and Nani’s look in it has grabbed everyone’s attention. It will hit the big screens on 30th March 2023.
