Mukesh Kumar Singh and actor Mohan Babu are the directors of the fantasy drama Kannappa. In the sixth and eighth centuries, the story of the film revolves around a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. With an extensive budget, the project is anticipated to be a visually stunning cinematic experience.

The entire cast of the movie is amazing, including Prabhas who makes a brief appearance as Lord Shiva, and Nayanathara who plays a crucial part. Actor Mohanlal from Kerala and Shiva Rajkumar from Kannada are also scheduled to make guest appearances. Just last month, the film's New Zealand filming had commenced.

Nupur Sanon was originally supposed to play the female protagonist opposite Vishnu. However, owing to schedule issues, she had to withdraw from the movie, which meant the directors had to find a new lead actress. Best wishes were sent to Nupur by Vishnu Manchu, who also stated his hope for more collaboration.

Production on Kannappa has been momentarily paused due to Vishnu's injury. Before production resumes, the shooting schedule will be altered to allow for his recovery and ensure his well-being. Undoubtedly, fans and well-wishers are expecting Vishnu Manchu to recover quickly so he can return to the Kannappa set with fresh energy and excitement.
