MUMBAI: Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars the country has ever witnessed. The actor is not only known for his movies but also for his humanitarian activities. Salman has a huge and dedicated fan following all over the country including South India. Well, after ruling the Hindi film industry, Salman is now all set to make his debut in the Telugu film industry with Chiranjeevi starrer movie Godfather. Interestingly, Salman Khan did not charge a single penny for his role in Chiranjeevi’s Godfather and rather got angry when he was offered money for the same.

Chiranjeevi once revealed that the director of the movie Mohan Raja suggested Khan’s name for the role and when Chiranjeevi said, “I told him it’s a small character but very respectable, and you can watch Lucifer in case you want, he said, ‘No, no Chiru garu, I am doing it. Just send it to your person, we will discuss dates and everything.’ Within 2-3 minutes he agreed.”
“When my producers went to him and offered him some amount, not knowing how much it was, he said, ‘You cannot buy my love towards Ram and Chiranjeevi garu with money. Get lost.'”
Meanwhile, talking about the movie, Godfather is the remake of the 2019 political action thriller Malayalam movie Lucifer, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.
