MUMBAI : Rajinikanth has fans who follow him religiously. The actor has made his mark with variety of roles and movies. Rajinikanth has worked in both South Indian and Hindi movies. In his career of almost 50 years, the superstar has been a part of many innovative and creative movies and he is now all set for his upcoming movie Vettaiyan which is going to be released on 10th October this year.
The other day, there was Vettaiyan trailer release announcement which got the fans excited but something happened today that got all the fans worried for their favourite megastar.

So Rajinikanth was admitted to a hospital in Chennai after severe stomach pain. According to a statement released today by the Greams Road unit of Apollo Hospitals, the actor was admitted on Monday due to a swelling in the main blood vessel (aorta) leaving the heart. A non-surgical, transcatheter method was used to treat the 76-year-old actor and a stent was placed in the aorta, sealing off the swelling. It is reported that the Vettaiyan actor will be home by Thursday.
Talking about the movie, it recently got a U/A certificate and the trailer will be out by tomorrow (2nd, October). The movie stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and Ritika Singh. Some time ago, we got to watch the makers introducing the actors along with their characters. This gave fans a good look at the cast and their bonds.
When talking about Vettaiyan, it is a Tamil movie, directed by TJ Gnanavel with Anirudh Ravichander giving the music. Well, Rajinikanth was last seen in Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The audience is loving all the updates of Vettaiyan and are awaiting for more updates from the makers.
