MUMBAI :Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth who was busy shooting for her upcoming directorial Laal Salaam has filed a police complaint where she stated that 60 sovereigns worth of gold and diamond jewelry have been stolen from her locker from her Chennai home.

The police complaint states that the valuables that have gone missing from her locker are around 3.60 lakhs. The Teynampet police have registered a complaint under Section 381 of the IPC and an investigation in the matter has been initiated.
Aishwarys said in her statement that she had kept the valuables in her locker which the house staff was aware of. The lockers he said had been moved to many locations like her ex-husband Dhanush’s place then her place in 2021 and finally in her father’s house.
She has said that diamond sets, antique gold pieces, Navaratnam sets, bangles and nearly 60 sovereigns of gold were missing which amounted to Rs 3.60 lakhs. Aishwarya has named her driver and 2 domestic help as the suspects.

Her maid Easwari stole around 100 sovereigns of gold jewelry, 30 grams of diamond jewelry and four kilograms of silver items. She sold them and used the money for the purchase of a house here, the cops also said that she used the money to buy other items as well.
Easwari was working for Aishwarya for over 18 years and had opened her locker on multiple occasions and had stolen items from the locker over a period of time. The maid was well aware where the locker keys were and kept opening it to steal and sell the items.
The police have recovered several stolen items and also seized the purchased house property papers.
