Sobhita, through the pictures of these preparations, has taken us through a journey of the culture and tradition which is an experience in itself. This pre-wedding ceremony was held in Visakhapatnam. If we look at what Sobhita has written in the caption of the post, we will find something again that is of significance.
In the caption, it is mentioned by the actress, “Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam”, which roughly translates to ‘crushing wheat, stone, and turmeric together’. It refers to a traditional ritual where the bride and groom jointly grind wheat, turmeric, and sometimes other ingredients on a grinding stone (raayi).
In the pictures, we can see Sobhita wearing a peach gold and green coloured silk saree and is surrounded by her loved ones. We can also see the actress seeking blessings from the elders by touching their feet. And as the captioned said it, Sobhita can be seen grounding the turmeric.
