MUMBAI : Suriya is shooting for his 44th movie which will be directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The movie was announced last month as per an ETimes report and it was on June 2 that it went on floors in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Now, the filmmakers created a lot of anticipation around Suriya 44 after the first look of the star in retro mode was released. Reports also suggest that the makers of the movie will be revealing the title look of the movie on July 23 which is also the birthday of the actor.
Reportedly the filmmakers with the cast and crew are shooting for the action scenes of the movie in Andaman and a song sequence is also in the making. The first part of the movie shooting is set to be completed by July while the second part of the shooting will start in Chennai. The stellar cast of Suriya 44 has Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran among the rest. Santhosh Narayanan will be composing the period romantic drama's music. On the work front, Suriya will be next seen opposite Siva's Kanguva and the epic drama film has Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, DOP Nataraj, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley. The movie as of now is in post-production mode and the VFX work reportedly will be done by the month of August. The makers are yet to reveal the release date of the film.
Talking about Suriya he also has Suriya 43 with Sudha Kongara. He also has Vaadivaasal along with Vetrimaaran for which he will start shooting earlier this year.
