MUMBAI : Yash is a huge name down South and his upcoming project Toxic has been in the news for months now. There has been a lot of speculation about the leading lady in the Geetu Mohandas directorial for a while now. But now it seems the makers have locked in their lead heroine.

Earlier there were reports that Kareena Kapoor Khan would play the lead as she also announced that she would be starring in a South Indian movie soon. Now there are reports that none other than Kiara Advani has been roped in as the leading lady opposite Yash. She seems to have become the hot favourite not only with the Hindi cinema audience but also with the South movie goers.

Earlier there were reports that Animal actress Tripti Dimri was approached for the lead role in Toxic, however, she reportedly opted out of the film and chose to star opposite Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. 

Kiara’s casting in Toxic is yet to be confirmed. This news will be a sweet surprise after the actress has been confirmed to star opposite Ranveer Singh in Don 3.
