MUMBAI: Rajinikanth has fans who follow him religiously. The actor has made his mark with variety of roles and movies. Rajinikanth has worked in both South Indian and Hindi movies. In his career of almost 50 years, the superstar has been a part of many innovative and creative movies. He has once again made it to the top with his latest movie Vettaiyan which released on 10th October.

It has garnered some crazy amount of love from the audience and is winning hearts. On its opening day, the movie collected around Rs 31.70 Cr with 27.75 Cr in Tamil, 3.3 Cr in Telugu, 0.6 Cr in Hindi, and 0.05 Cr in Kannada.
On day 15, Vettaiyan collected around Rs 1.40 Cr with 1 Cr in Tamil, 0.32 Cr in Telugu, and 0.08 Cr in Hindi. Meanwhile, the movie globally made around Rs 244.5 Cr.
The movie stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and Rana Daggubati. Vettaiyan is Tamil movie, released in multiple languages, directed by TJ Gnanavel with Anirudh Ravichander giving the music. Well, Rajinikanth was last seen in Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
One thing that has grabbed a lot of attention is the fact that the audience got to witness Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth together on the screen. The audience love their presence together in ‘Hum’ and Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD where even Kamal Haasan gave a mind-blowing performance.
