MUMBAI : Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the shooting of Vettaiyan, which has been directed by TJ Gnanavel. The movie apart from Rajinikanth also will have Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faassil, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh and Manju Warrier in pivotal roles. The music of the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Now, according to an ETimes report, the digital and satellite rights of the movie have been sold to a Tamil network channel reportedly for Rs 65 crore and the digital rights of the movie were sold for Rs 90 crore.

Well, good news for all Rajnikanth fans as the movie, post-theatrical release will be released on Amazon Prime Video post it completes one month in the theatres. The film is all set to release on October 10. The makers have not yet revealed the trailer of the movie as well as the music.

However, on the flip side, Rajinikanth will be dubbing for the movie soon after the post-production work is completed of the same. On the professional front, the actor also has Coolie with Lokesh Kanagaraj. The shooting of his next movie has been delayed. He is also rumoured to be a part of Nelson Dilipkumar's Jailer 2 for which the scripting work is still under work.

Earlier the superstar had said during his previous meeting with a yogi in the lap of the Himalayas; he had spoken about his future projects. When talking about the release date of the movie, Rajinikanth said that the movie is in its production stage and will be released on  October 10, 2024. "I have completed my portions. The shooting with other members of the cast is still going on. The film will be released on October 10 or so".
