MUMBAI: Ajith has come back with his latest movie Vidaamuyarchi which released on 6th February. The movie is about a couple that’s on a trip but things go wrong when the wife suddenly goes missing. The Ajith starrer was definitely having a lot of anticipation before its release in theatres or even before its trailer officially released.
The first look came out in June last year and since then, people have been waiting for more updates. Trailer of Vidaamuyarchi garnered a lot of appreciation and anticipation with many fans expressing their views and giving reactions on social media. Along with Ajith, the movie also stars Trisha Krishnan and Regina Cassandra and is an exciting factor for a lot of South movie fans.
Now the movie finally hit the theatres on 6th February and surely fans of Ajith were excited for the experience. On its first day, the movie opened with a collection of around Rs 26 Cr with worldwide collections of Rs 47 Cr.
It’s been 7 days now since the movie was released and on day 7, the movie collected around Rs 2.50 Cr. Till now, the movie has collected around Rs 82.1 Cr in India net while minting a total of around Rs 117.5 Cr globally.
Vidaamuyarchi stars Ajith, Trisha Krishnan and Regina Cassandra. The movie is directed by Magizh Thirumeni.
