MUMBAI: After falling in love on the Ye Maaya Chesave film set, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017. However problems quickly surfaced in their paradise, and after nearly four years of marriage, they decided to split up. Samantha recently questioned her fans on a Reddit conversation that went viral about the most important life lesson that helped in their personal growth.

She wrote, “If personal growth had a highlight reel, what would be the ‘blooper’ you laugh about now, and what’s the ‘Oscar-worthy’ moment where you nailed a major life lesson?”
The actress spoke up about her biggest life mistake to start the conversation. She went on to write that because her husband was always influencing her likes and dislikes, she was unable to understand them. Samantha did add that one of the most challenging lessons she ever learned helped her grow personally.
She wrote, “Perhaps the most significant mistake was my failure to understand my own likes and dislikes, as they were constantly influenced by the partner I had during that period. On the other hand, my moment of immense personal growth occurred when I recognised that even during the most difficult times, there was a valuable lesson to be learnt.”
Reddit users were curious as to whether Samantha was referring to her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, as soon as the message went viral. One person responded to the post by writing, “Assuming this is about Chay… She had to break out of the marriage to find her true self.” Another added, “Ugh, if you watch even a single interview of theirs, it’s very, very easy to understand their dynamic. He puts her down CONSTANTLY. I think he was really insecure because even his family was speaking about her in interviews and a huge superstar and their favorite actress and stuff."

You know, people go down for far less than what I endured for the last two years or so. During that time, I read about actors who have gone through health issues and made a comeback, or suffered trolling or anxiety. And reading their stories helped me. It gave me strength to know that if they did it, I can, too."
