MUMBAI : Well, Maharaja actor  Vijay Sethupathi's biggest fan is Janhvi Kapoor. She has never been shy from talking about her love for South movies and the fact that she always wanted to work with a lot of south stars. She has been a fan of the actor and had once spoken about calling the Super Deluxe star and if he had any roles to offer her, for her auditions.

During an interview with PinkVilla, the actress revealed that she had called the Farzi star post watching his movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. She had said, "I called up Vijay sir after watching Naanum Rowdy for the 100th time. I realized that someone had his number, I called him up and I was like sir I am a huge fan, and if you ever have anything like I will audition for it. I really want to work with you.’’

The Dhadak actress further said that Vijay had replied to the full conversation. "He (Vijay Sethupathi) just kept saying ayoo, oh, I don't know if he was offended or shy but he seemed surprised that I was this forward, I guess”, she had further added in the conversation.

For those who do not know, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan was released in 2015 and had Vijay with Nayanthara in pivotal roles. The movie was directed by Vignesh Shivan. The comedy-drama movie had become a blockbuster. On the work front, the star is all set for Maharaja. The movie has been directed by Nithilan Swaminathan. The crime-thriller movie will have the actor along with  Mamta Mohandas, Abhirami, Anurag Kashyap, Bharathiraja, and Munshikanth.
