Wow! Kantara 2 to have SEVEN times the budget of part 1

Kantara 2 sees a hike of 681% in its budget as compared to part 1. This hike is equal to seven time the budget of part 1, which was 16 crores. With this unbelievable hike in its budget, makers are expecting a better production quality.

MUMBAI: Kantara 2, which is one of the most awaited upcoming part 2, has got a huge hype and expectations on its shoulder, as fans are super excited for it. Directed and acted by Rishab Shetty, Kantara 2 will be taking ahead the legacy and expectations of the part 1, which was a massive success in the cinema and audience loved it. 
These are the times when sequels and prequels are gathering a lot of buz and hype. We have seen KGF 2 doing it big in the cinemas, Pushpa’s second part also has got a huge buzz around it, we have Tiger 3 coming up soon and now we have Kantara 2, which is a prequel with the same level of hype like the other movies.

The movie is again in the news because of its budget which just saw a hike of about 681% or seven times the budget of part 1. The success of the Part 1 is the result for this increase. As of now, makers are hoping to improve production and post production and deliver a master piece to the cinema. The shoot of Kantara 2 is yet to start but it is expected that Rishab Shetty will commence shooting for this prequel in November in Mangalore. 

Part 1 was a massive success at the worldwide box office. It earned globally more than 410 crores, and this is the reason for the hype and high budget of Part 2, which is expected to be 125 crores compared to Part 1, which was 16 crores. The increase of this budget is nearly 681% and the expectations have also risen with this budget. The film is expected to release in big screens in late 2024 and will  be a prequel to the all time blockbuster hit part 1.
