MUMBAI: Gautam Ghattamaneni, the son of Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, turned 17 on Thursday. On Instagram, the pair posted nostalgic images of him along with heartfelt words for him. Namrata added that this birthday was unique because Gautam would travel abroad for his education the next year.

Mahesh Babu posted a photo of Gautam on Instagram and added the caption, “Happy 17, my champ!! May each step forward lead you to your goal! Keep reaching for the stars. Love you so so much @gautamghattamaneni.” Gautam is seen grinning for the camera while wearing a blue winter jacket.

Namrata posted a photo of Gautam taken from an airplane and said, “Happy happy birthday GG. You make me so proud each passing year. Can’t wait to see you soar high up… And achieve all that you ever dreamed of... Mahesh Babu recently celebrated his own birthday. He recently turned 48. At the event, a brand-new poster for his next movie Guntur Kaaram was released. Mahesh was seen smoking while wearing a lungi.
The action drama, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, stars Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakashraj, and Sunil. In order to work on large-scale production, Trivikram and Mahesh Babu have previously worked together on blockbusters like Athadu and Khaleja. On January 13 of the next year, the movie is expected in theaters.
In July, Mahesh Babu and Namrata also celebrated the 11th birthday of their daughter Sitara. On this occasion, a short film was also released that features Sitara in her role as a brand ambassador for a jewelry company. The 11-year-old's birthday party was held at home.
