MUMBAI: Mrunal Thakur is one of the talented actresses of Television who has smoothly made her transition to films and achieved much success. With getting a lucky break in Love Sonia to work with the top stars of Bollywood like Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor, she has come a long way.
Mrunal was loved in Sita Ramam with Dulquer Salmaan. Sharing gratitude for the Telugu audiences for the love, the Lust Stories 2 actress said, “I didn’t know what the definition of success is. All the kinds of films that I did, were in the Rs 100 crore club or gained recognition. But I did not have a repeat audience who watches my films many times.”
She further said, “We had a repeat audience coming in (for Sita Ramam) and there was so much love pouring in. They accepted me as a Telugu ammayi (girl). It was so new. They made me feel like a family. And for the first time, I realised that audiences will shower you with the exact amount of love you put into making a film or a TV show. I received the most love in Sita Ramam.”
Speaking of her co-stars Mrunal said, “My god! It has been such a fantastic journey. It is so lovely, enchanting and so different to get to work in different languages with different talents. Nani is known for his natural acting and performances. And Vijay is known for the roles that he has done in all sorts of films. It is really nice to work with both of them.”
