The current track of the show revolves around the British government accepting Anirudh’s petition against child marriage which means soon the law will be enforced which would state all child marriages as null and void. While Anirudh is happy to bring a reform, he is also going through an emotional turmoil as this would mean that his marriage with Bondita will also stand invalid.
In the upcoming episode, Anirudh and Bondita share an emotional moment on realising that they wouldn’t stay as husband and wife any longer if the new laws are enforced regarding child marriage. With a heavy heart, Bondita supports Anirudh and tells him that she will support his decision.
People from Panchayat reach Roy Chaudhary mansion to question Anirudh about his petition. They’re against the same because they believe the lives of their daughters will be spoiled if child marriages will be banned. They demand him to take back his petition from the court. People from Panchayat question him and ask him about his stance on his relationship with Bondita. After mustering courage, Anirudh finally announces his decision of not taking the petition back even if it means that his marriage with Bondita would stand invalid.
This revelation leaves Bondita, Trilochan, and everyone shocked.
