MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role. These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end. The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.

It appears that Prem's preference for Anupama and Rahi will enrage Parag. He will observe that Prem has changed significantly and now only considers Rahi and Anupama.
As he observes how Prem is attempting to shield Anupama and Rahi while making his own family feel alienated, Parag will be seen attempting to suppress his rage. Without waiting for Rahi's response, Moti Baa will be spotted organizing Rahi and Prem's wedding.
Prem will be seen supporting Rahi's desire to put off getting married for a while in order to focus on her job. Moti Baa will lose her temper and lash out at Rahi and Anupama for turning down her proposal of marriage.
Prem knows his family will do whatever it takes to obtain what they want, so he will step in to defend Anupama and Rahi. Prem will be perceived as standing up for Anupama and Rahi while opposing his own family, which would infuriate Parag.
Since Prem no longer resembles Kothari, he will take his hand and eject him from his home. Prem promises never to go back again and will be just as furious.
