MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role. These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end. The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.

Since Rahi doesn't want to marry Prem right away, it appears that Anupama would accept her decision to wait before getting married. Since she wants Rahi and Prem to get to know one another before committing to anything long-term, Anupama will also support Rahi's choice.
The elder generation's Moti Baa will not approve of Rahi's way of thinking and will doubt Anupama's background because she has two failed marriages and continues to preach about happy marriages.
Rahi should only concentrate on her home and Prem, and nothing else, as Moti Baa wants Prem and Rahi to be married. Rahi would become enraged and leave Kothari House feeling suffocated.
In a home where girls are viewed as nothing more than objects or decorations, Anupama will be believed to be conflicted about marrying her daughter. It will be evident that Anupama is unhappy with the Kothari family.
Prem will attempt to defend Rahi, but he will also have to deal with Parag's ire because Parag is upset that he chose to work for Anupama as a regular chef.
