MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role. These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end. The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.

It appears that Prem will be furious with Parag for attempting to use his wealth to influence Anupama and Rahi. While Prem harbors many resentments toward his family, Parag will make every effort to get his son back.
Without hesitation, he would accuse Parag and his wife Khyaati of being responsible for his mother Gayatri's murder. He would be seen in a rage when he admits that he created a circumstance where Gayatri ended up killing herself because Parag wanted to wed Khyaati.
Prem has never recognized Khyaati as his mother since he has never been able to move over the loss of his own mother. Despite her best efforts, Khyaati, a kind woman, was unable to win Prem over.
