MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role. These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end. The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.

Prem and Rahi appear to be very much in love, and it would be impossible for them to live apart. Prem will return and plead for another opportunity even after Anupama and Rahi expel him from their home.
Rahi is unwilling to listen to Prem at all costs because she is deeply damaged emotionally. She pushes Prem out of rage and won't let him into her home. He will be on the verge of falling, but Parag will catch him by the back and keep him from falling.
He will be very angry with Rahi’s actions but will keep his fury in control and enters Shah House to talk to Anupama.
In order to preserve his son's happiness above Rahi's conceit and haughtiness, he will later be shown asking for her hand in marriage. Anupama would be taken aback by the shift in Parag's conduct.
