MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role. These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative, where the show has taken a fifteen years leap and the kids are all grown up and are living with Anupamaa and the problems surrounding her don't end. The current track focuses on the entry of the Kotari family (Prem's family), who are opposed to the Shah family, particularly Anupama and Rahi, and have advised them not to enter the house after discovering Prem and Rahi's relationship.

It appears that Moti Baa, Khyaati, and Parag Kothari would visit Shah House to discuss Prem and Rahi's marriage proposal. Although Prem is deeply in love with Rahi, Parag must accept Anupama and her daughter despite his hatred for them.
Prem has turned into a doormat in Anupama's home and dances to her music, which Parag will notice. Although Parag will be hurt by this, he will make an effort to remain composed since he wants his son back.
Anupama and the rest of her family are later seen being invited to Parag's opulent home for lunch. Anupama would find it hard to comprehend that Parag Kothari has changed so drastically in such a short period of time.
Parag Kothari would state that he merely wants the two families to get to know one another better and has no ulterior motives for inviting Anupama to his home. Prem will also appear perplexed by his family's transformation.
Rahi and Anupama will be seen bewildered since they still wish to trust Prem despite knowing that he is a liar. Rahi is unable to make a decision, thus she will be seen approaching Anupama for advice.
