MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Anupama plans a surprise birthday party for Bala, inviting the whole Asha Bhawan family. They all dress traditionally in South Indian clothes, celebrating Bala's South Indian heritage, and dance to the tune "Kashmir Main, Tu Kanyakumari" to make him happy. Despite Toshu's protests, Kinjal and the kids also take part in the festivities. The party partakes in a variety of South Indian cuisine after the performance. They do not, however, know that a storm is approaching the Shah residence.
Anuj makes the decision at Aasha Bhawan to enlist the help of Sagar, a law student, in his legal battle. He also makes plans to use guards and staff to help him retrieve his property from Ankush. Anupama agrees with Anuj's choice, and the two of them have a nice conversation over tea.
