Vanraj lashes out at Samar. He tells him how he never raised his voice in front of his father (Bapuji). He further tells him that even today when Bapuji calls him over the phone he stops to listen to him because he knows the worth of a father. Meanwhile, Kavya tells Samar to be ashamed of himself but Vanraj asks her to keep quiet.
Vanraj reminds Samar that while their house is a two-story building, he is the third story who is responsible for making this house. He then turns to Anupamaa and says that his kids think he is a loser. He asks Anupamaa to tell their kids that he is not a loser.
Further, Vanraj says how everyone knows that he has not been a good husband and that Anupamaa has done a lot for his family, but he too has done something for everyone.
He then talks about the two mistakes of his life; first, loving Kavya and second, hiding it from Anupamaa. He says he should have told Anupamaa because she deserved to know the truth.
Vanraj asks everyone if they are going to punish him for the whole life. He says that he is ready for it but he is not ready to accept that whenever they talk about him they only talk about his mistakes.
