MUMBAI: The Friday episode of Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot's "Chikoo - Ye Ishq Nachaye" started with Alka telling Dhanush that a girl like Chikoo who doesn't know about her ambitions had no right to compete with him. She asks him to do something that breaks Chikoo and she is unable to face anyone in college. His brother Keshav tells Dhanush not to let what his mother said affect his judgement and do what's right.
Meanwhile, Chikoo is telling her friends that Alka is very nice and kind, and she was dumb to not answer the questions she asked her. At the same time, Mini is telling her friends that Alka is the opposite of Dhanush and is very cunning. She is wondering why she wanted to talk to Chikoo. Later, she tells Nivaan that she knows his secret and asks him to do something that Chikoo is embarrassed in front of Alka. Mini then tells Chikoo that if she starts talking to others in college they won't make fun of her. She takes her to her friends who laugh at her. Just then Nivaan brings a juice mixed with alcohol and gives it to her. But Chikoo's friend mixes the drink.
Dhanush then joins the party and dances with everyone. His mother and brother then come to the party and they cut a cake. Dhanush takes a piece of cake for Chikoo and then asks her to join him to dance. Chikoo joins him but then Dhanush pushes her in the pool. His mother is happy and leaves from there. Keshav pulls Dhanush from the crowd and asks him if he will be able to face the mirror after this. Dhanush jumps to Chikoo's rescue but she tells him that she hates him and asks him to stay away.
Chikoo leaves the party while her friends follow her. She reaches home and locks herself and breaks her mirror. Sameer asks her what happened but Chikoo kept crying.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Chikoo is upset with what happened at the party and blames Sameer for sending her there. She tells Sameer that this has shattered her self-confidence and self-respect. Meanwhile, Dhanush's mother tells him that he shouldn't let the fire that she saw yesterday reduce. Dhanush promises her that come what may he will win the scholarship and make sure Chikoo is expelled from college. To know what happens next, keep watching the show.
