MUMBAI:Sony Sab’s 'Dhruv Tara' is a romantic drama that revolves around Dhruv and Tara, who are from two different eras. Tara, a princess from the 17th century, travels through time and arrives in the present day, where she meets Dhruv.
At the onset, the show unveils 17th century Princess Tarapriya (played by Riya Sharma) who is a secret Vaidya, her brother Prince Mahaveer (Krishna Bharadwaj), and their father, King Udaybhaan (Yash Tonk). Meanwhile, in the present day, Dhruv (played by Ishaan Dhawan) is seen in Agra near the Taj Mahal when an unidentified dupatta from the 17th century lands on him. The week also showcases how Tara’s mother Rani Kanupriya (played by Narayani Shashtri) advises Tara to travel into the 21st century to find a cure for her brother’s illness.

Previously, Tara is super happy and is on cloud nine as Maharani comes back to the palace. Unaware of her feelings, she goes to Anusuya and confesses. Dhruv and Tara are in love. Dhruv wants Tara to answer his question. He meets a person in jail.
Later, Senapati and Dhruv talk about Tara where Dhruv informs him that Tara is not married to him yet, and so he shouldn't try and control Tara's life. Tara gets kidnapped by Senapati and Dhruv gets attacked by a soldier while searching for Tara.
Finally, Mahaveer asks Dhruv and Tara if they want to marry each other and they both say yes. However, Dhruv and Tara face new challenges that cast a shadow over their marriage plans.
Further, Senapati Samrat gets instructed to give back his sword to Mahaveer as Maharaj announces that Mahaveer is the next king of Vallabhgarh. Hearing this, Senapati Samrat gets furious.
Now, Maharishi comes to meet Maharaj where he asks Tara to go ahead with Senapati and touch Maharishi’s feet and everyone is shocked.
