MUMBAI : Star Plus’s show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua is a remake of the popular Bengali daily soap Anurager Chhowa. The show stars Akkshith Sukhija, Aditi Tripathi, and Urvashi Pardeshi in the leading roles. The show centers around how Deepika faces mistreatment from her stepmother and stepsister; her life changes after she meets a young doctor who wishes to marry her. It is set against the backdrop of Rajasthan. It is a tale of Deepika and Chirag and what unfolds in the lives of Deepika and Chirag, who fall in love.
Deepika will suffer extreme pain and suffering due to having darker skin.
Lavanya seems to be jealous of Deepika because the latter performed the pooja in the mandir on her behalf.
Lavanya finds it difficult to accept persons with dark complexion since she doesn't believe they are deserving of respect.
She would invite Deepika to her home and have her do all the household duties in the manner of a maid.
She will further humiliate Deepika by making her have food with chappals around her.
Deepika would cry, but she wouldn't say anything because this was Jhanvi's sasural, and one of her mistakes will cost Jhanvi her marriage.
However, Chirag will be taken aback when he sees Deepika eating while seated on the ground with footwear around her.
