MUMBAI : Colors presents Durga, a tale of a tribal girl who defies social expectations to follow her love for the royal heir Anurag and become a doctor, despite opposition from strong tribal woman Paani Bai. Starring Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, and produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show is set in Jodhpur, the story follows Durga, a tribal girl aspiring to become a doctor.
As of late, it has come to light that Anurag assures Durga that her selflessness always brings him happiness and that he will always support her in achieving her goals, which in turn makes her happy.
But Durga assures him that it is vital for humanity and that she will undoubtedly succeed in ending poverty and meeting needs.
When Panibai urges Savitri to refrain from speaking negatively about her and promises to do whatever she feels is appropriate, the story takes an intriguing turn. She assures her that she is aware of what is valuable.
Because they trust in their love and think it deserves a chance to be cherished, Anurag and Durga are determined to make their love eternal despite Pani Bai getting in the way.
We will see in the upcoming episodes that Durga is adamant on getting revenge on her father's killer, no matter what. However, a shocking turn of events awaits her, as she is unaware that Anurag's father is the murderer.
