MUMBAI : Colors presents Durga, a tale of a tribal girl who defies social expectations to follow her love for the royal heir Anurag and become a doctor, despite opposition from strong tribal woman Paani Bai. Starring Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, and produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show is set in Jodhpur, the story follows Durga, a tribal girl aspiring to become a doctor.
It has come to our attention that Vikram informs Pani Bai that he is forced to comply with Durga's wishes. She tells him she wants to be The Doctor, but he begs her not to.
Vikram is informed by Pani Bai, nevertheless, that he is unable to recall anything he has done in the past, even what they had to do to stop the Kabela Community from attacking him, and Durga was brought in as a result.
When Vikram asks her why she is talking about this right now, the story takes an interesting turn. He assures her that he is aware of and recalls all he has done. He requests that she stop.
After hearing Vikram and Pani Bai's talk, Anurag decides to end Durga's marriage to Rajesh and promises himself that he will never let her leave his side.
We will witness Durga severing her ties with the Rajvadi family in favor of the Kabela community and taking a stern stand against Pani Bai for attempting to prevent her from assisting her own people in the upcoming episodes.
