It was previously seen how Sarla advises Preeta that she should mend her relationship with Karan and asks her to leave his past behind in the books. His present and future only consist of Preeta. Hearing this Karan's tension takes an exit and the latter hugs Sarla maa.
PreeRan promise Sarla that they won't leave each other. When asked about who told her the truth, she points out Sherlyn. The Luthras scold Sherlyn for being insensitive towards Preeta's grief.
Sherlyn and Prithvi head out on a coffee date where she happens to see Karan and Preeta entering the fertility clinic. She follows them and overhears Preeta's conversation with Shrishti. Sherlyn decides to reveal the truth to the family and get her kicked out of the family.
In the upcoming episode, Sherlyn goes to the doctor's cabin and manipulates the doctor in helping with the hard copy of the reports. She decides to tell the truth to the family and get Preeta out, but when she claims to know the truth Rakhi maa plants a tight slap on her face.
