It was previously seen how Sonakshi confronts Rajat's family to prove them wrong but now Shrikant has yet another proof against her. He reveals that Sonakshi has a daughter and he has documents that could prove who is the child’s father. Sonakshi is left stunned looking at the document.
Shrikant reveals that Sonakshi had given birth to a girl and the father of that child is none other but Karan Luthra. Preeta reads the document and falls unconscious in shock. She tries to defend her husband but Sonakshi leaves without revealing the truth.
In the upcoming episode, Preeta and Karan are left in shock as even the doctor at City Hospital confirms that Karan is the father of Sonakshi's daughter. Karan begs for the truth from Sonakshi and she reveals that yes he is the father of her child although she never mentioned it to him earlier.
