Currently, Bondita tries to convince Thaku Maa and Tapur to take a stand for the truth. Thaku maa is bounded by rudimental norms, she fears society and says that she wouldn't let Bondita ruin Tapur's life. Bondita assures that her identity wouldn't get revealed. Tapur finally agrees to give her statement in court and save Anirudh from the death sentence.
On the hearing day, Bondita comes with a group of women hiding their faces in Orange sarees. She calls them her important evidence to save Anirudh from the death sentence. In the group of women, Tapur is also one of them who is here to give her statement against Chandrachur and save Anirudh. The people in the courtroom are completely baffled looking at the group of women together in the witness box.
Previously, Subodh asks shameful questions to Tapur to know who is actually answering questions in the witness box and he humiliates her to an extent that she refuses to reveal the truth and leaves the courtroom in tears. Despite, Bondita's efforts her chance to win the case gets blurred. Anirudh asks Bondita not to blame Tapur for this as she tried to reveal the truth but Subodh made her so uncomfortable that she left the court without revealing the truth.
In the upcoming episode, Somnath brings Chandrachur's belongings after the last rites to Bondita, while investigating them she realises that his treasured ring is missing. Tupur sees her talking to Somnath about the ring and keeping the belongings as evidence under her custody. Tupur fears that now while searching for the ring, Bondita will come to know the truth that Chandrachur is not dead.
