The show follows the journeys of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant and modern thinking young girl. 

Currently, Damayanti doesn’t want history to repeat itself with Shivendra falling in love with a city girl. Therefore, when he stays back and doesn’t return to Ranakgadh, she grows anxious about the prediction of Kalik.
