MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a significant turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Imlie and Chini are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that Chini lies and tells Atharva that Imlie knows that he loves her and not Imlie. She tells him that Imlie is marrying him because she did not want to let go of the opportunity to get associated with such a rich family. She continues to turn Atharva against Imlie. She tells him that her mother and Imlie’s father were equal partners in Bhaskar Times but now everything is in her hands.
She further tells Atharva that Imlie threatened Chini saying if she married him, Imlie will make sure Chini is thrown out of the house and that she will not give her her mother’s share. She will make sure that she completely defames her and her mother’s name.
Anu further instigates Atharva by telling him that Imlie is the one who sent those goons. Atharva later agrees to marry Imlie so that she does not ruin Chini’s life.

In the upcoming episode, we will see that Chini has tied her dupatta to Imlie and Atharva’s auspicious knot. As Imlie and Atharva start with the seven pheras, Imlie stops and says that Chini’s dupatta has been caught along by mistake. Chini says that it would be a bad omen to open the knot and suggests taking the pheras that way only.
Imlie says that it is not just a knot and has great value for the two people about to get married. She says a knot is different and there should never be a knot in a relationship. But if there comes one, it can be sorted out with prayer, hard work and love.
Imlie declares that she has done the prayers and will now work hard on their relationship. She promises that no matter what happens, she will not give up. She says that whatever problem arises between her and Atharva, she will sort it all out with love.
Imlie opens the auspicious knot and ties her dupatta with Atharva’s. The two take the pheras. Chini thinks to herself that no matter how many promises Imlie makes, Artharva will from thereon listen to her and not Imlie. She feels that Imlie’s husband and future is in her control.
Imlie is thinking to herself that no matter what happens, she will always be there for Atharva and that their relationship will not get affected by anything. She feels lucky to have found him. Atharva on the other hand thinks that Imlie has betrayed him for money and that he will always love and be loyal to Chini.
Chini feels happy inside and is determined to make Imlie feel unimportant, the way she felt all her life.
The rituals are over and the two are declared married. Atharva and Imlie go to all the elders for blessings.
Anu thinks about it all when Chini tells Anu that this wedding is taking place because she wanted it to happen. She tells Anu that Atharva’s real relationship is only with Chini. She says that gradually Atharva will legally name everything to Chini and Anu feels happy to hear this.
Later, Imlie’s bidaai ritual starts and the Rathores get emotional. Narmada finally has a change of heart and gives her blessings to Imlie.
Chini feels that after seeing everyone's love for Imlie, Artharva will not believe that she has ulterior motives. She thinks she has to do something so that even if Atharva is with Imlie, he thinks of Chini.
Chini finds Imlie’s journal in which she had expressed her feelings for Atharva. Chini tears the page and decides to use it as hers. As she thinks that now she is ready, Atharva walks in.
