MUMBAI : Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that Rupi says that Cheeni will get married the next day.
Cheeni says that she needs to talk to Atharva and Keya stops her which makes her suspicious.
Later we see Akash and Atharva fighting while there is a mic near them. Atharva says that he loves Cheeni but Keya turns the mic off on time so everyone just hears half of it and assumes he is talking about Imlie.
Atharva then tells the both of them that Cheeni has to know that he loves her. Cheeni overhears this and feels happy about it.

In the upcoming episode, we will see that Cheeni says she does not want to marry Jatin as their wedding rituals begin. Everyone is shocked to hear this. Atharva is left surprised as well.
When everyone asks Cheeni as to why she isn’t marrying Jatin, she says she doesn't love him.
Rupi gets furious and asks if there is some other reason. She asks if she is deliberately trying to insult them publicly. Cheeni says to Rupi that she told her privately as well that she does not want to marry Jatin and she ignored her. Now that she is publicly doing so, even then she does not care about her feelings.
Imlie comes forward and asks her if she is sure about it and Cheeni says yes. Cheeni says that no matter what happens, love is important in a marriage. She says that Imlie agreed to marry Atharva because she feels something for him and then Cheeni asks Atharva that he agreed to marry Imlie because he loves her.
Atharva falls silent and confused while Cheeni hopes that he will confess his feelings for her.
Jatin’s family gets furious and bash Cheeni. Imlie then takes a stand for Cheeni as she feels no one should have to marry under pressure. She says that Cheeni doesn’t love Jatin and it is better that everything comes out in the open now as it would have been worse after getting married.
Jatin then takes Cheeni’s side and says that it is okay and better to do this now rather than regretting later.
After everyone leaves, Narmada gets furious and throws everything around. Everybody asks her to calm down. Anu says that she is proud of what Cheeni did. Rupi gets a feeling that it was Anu who instigated Cheeni to do so. Anu says that she did not do anything and Rupi breaks down feeling her upbringing has failed.
Imlie comes and apologizes to her family that she went against them to support Cheeni. Rupi says that it isn’t her fault. Sunsar says that this might also affect Imlie’s marriage as Akash and Keya were also there.
Arpita suggests that Imlie should fast for Atharva on Karwa Chauth and they will invite the Ranas home. This will make things better. Imlie agrees.
Later we see Cheeni feeling furious as Atharva did not confess his feelings when she gave him the chance. A letter pops from the window and she finds Atharva standing outside. In the note, Atharva asks Cheeni to meet him at the temple the next day and Cheeni assumes that he will marry her.
Imlie finds Atharva standing outside and assumes she is there for her.
Will Cheeni marry Atharva? What will happen with Imlie?
