MUMBAI : Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Imlie and Cheeni are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw Imlie fasts for Atharva on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. Atharva later meets Cheeni and confesses his love for her. Cheeni decides to trick him for money by saying that she has feelings for him too. We later see Imlie reaches the temple and is praying for Atharva and promising what all she will do for him along the way.
Akash and Keya reach the temple and question Atharva for his decision. They explain to him how it will hurt Rudra if Atharva breaks off his marriage with Imlie. Keya instigates Cheeni by saying that when Ranas find out about Atharv and Cheeni, they will kick him out and his property.
Atharva says that he doesn’t care about the money and property. Cheeni starts to worry by listening to this and thinks to herself that it is his money she wants.
Later, Imlie arrives at the temple and breaks her fast with Atharva. He feels bad about hiding the truth from her.

In the upcoming episode, we will see that Cheeni expresses her concern to Anu of Atharva leaving his house and she might not get the luxurious life she desires for. Anu explains to her how after some time, Ranas will understand and forgive them. Then all the money and property will be hers.
Rupali overhears all this and gets furious at Anu. She gets angry at Cheeni for planning to hurt Imlie. Cheeni then tells Rupali the truth about Atharav’s feelings for her and Rupali refuses to believe it.
Atharva and Cheeni later meet where Cheeni manipulates Atharva and requests him not to leave his house. When Atharva asks her to tell Imlie the truth, Cheeni says that she cannot hurt Imlie and then thinks to herself that before breaking the truth to everyone, she needs a plan.
Later, Cheeni gets a transfer letter from her office. Cheeni thinks that she hasn’t gone to the office for a long time and suspects if Rupali has something to do with it. Atharva walks in and says that Cheeni will not go anywhere and he will get a job for her in Delhi itself.
We see Rupali tell Arpita and Sundar about what Cheeni told her. The three plan to make her go away till Imlie’s wedding so Sundar makes Cheeni’s office send the transfer letter.
The Rathores get shocked to see Atharva's reaction. As Atharva tries to tell the truth, Cheeni diverts the conversation.
What will happen when everyone comes to know about Cheeni and Atharva? Will Imlie’s heart be broken?
