MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the top shows and is always doing well with the ratings. The show took a huge turn post the leap and Imlie and Chini are now all grown up. Megha Chakraborty and Seerat Kapoor play the leads with Karan Vohra. The show took a 5 year leap after which we saw a lot of twists and turns. The current track of the show is about Imlie being the victim of a bomb blast.

Now, while things are starting to look better in Atharva and Imlie's relationship, the story is soon to go through a major turn on the Independence Day.
A group of terrorists have plotted to take life of businessman Ajay Gupta. The plan is set to execute on the Independence Day function in a school. However, the terrorists are not just going to kill Ajay Gupta but they are ready to kill others around him as well.
The terrorists have made a chip which will be installed in every kid's watch in the function.
While the terrorists are ready with their plan, things are going to get extremely dangerous for Imlie as in the upcoming episodes, we see how Imlie is in a car on an empty road where a bomb is tied to her body.
Imlie loses hope as she understands that the time is running out and there's nothing she can do about it. Therefore, she calls Atharva for the last time where Atharva tries to tell her that things will get better and that she will have to live for him and Kairi.
However, Imlie tells him that she is doing this for him and Kairi. She tells him that her time is over. While everyone on the call gets worried for Imlie, they hear the car explode.
