MUMBAI: The Star Plus show Imlie has been extremely interesting and the audience has been in awe of the drama.
Produced by Gul Khan, it stars Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani. The series is a loose adaptation of Star Jalsha's Bengali serial Ishti Kutum. The narrative revolves around how Aditya lands at a village to report on a gangster and later, situations lead him to get married to Imlie while he is already committed to Malini for marriage. Since he cannot handle the situation well, he ends up getting married to Malini too.

Aryan brings Imlie back to the Rathore Mansion where Imlie tries her best to cheer herself up.
The story gets more intriguing when Imlie sees Aryan emotional and thus mimics a fun story to cheer him up.
However, nothing like that happens because Aryan finally breaks down in tears and this is the first time when Imlie realizes his pain.
Now the story will shift the focus on Imlie digging in Aryan’s past and coming across Arvind’s file in which Aryan has kept Arvind’s death news article and other articles related to him.
