Loyal viewers of the show know how much Anu is possessive about her daughter Malini due to what her husband Dev did in the past. She feels threatened because of Imlie’s presence at Aditya's house. Though she is not aware of Aditya and Imlie’s marriage, she fears that her daughter might face problem because of Imlie and that’s why she leaves no stone unturned to humiliate her.
