MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a significant turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Imlie and Chini are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that Atharva and Imlie are not in their senses as they drank the water that Chini spiked. Chini records Imlie and Atharva in the drunken state.
Chini plans to ruin things for Imlie. She sends the video to everyone in the reception and the Rathore family starts to worry. Narmada gets angry and calls Imlie downstairs.
Narmada lashes out at Imlie for drinking alcohol. People start to taunt her. Atharva comes and defends Imlie. He says that he is also drunk so why Imlie is the only one being blamed.
Imlie gets a few things done for Atharva the next morning, to which he says she need not do so much for him. Imlie says that Atharva obliged her with what he did last night so she can do such small things for him. Atharva throws away the smoothie she brought for him and calls her out.
He says that she can pretend to be nice in front of everyone but not in front of him as he is aware of her truth. He says she can even drink alcohol if she wants to.
Imlie tells him that she does not lie, does not drink alcohol and that she drank water from his glass after which she lost her senses last night and she hates double standards as well. Atharva is left thinking who spiked his water.

In the upcoming episode, we will see that Imlie is praying when Atharva is standing next to her. He is thinking to himself that he cannot commit any more mistakes. He thinks that it does not matter if Imlie is good or bad, what matters is that Imlie is not Chini and that Imlie has no place in his heart. He decides that he will take Imlie to her house for the ritual of Pagphera but will return alone.
