MUMBAI: Star Plus, a premier entertaining channel known to deliver extraordinary content and venture into unexplored territory, has brought its audience a new show, Jhanak. Hiba Nawab will be seen essaying the titular role of Jhanak in the show, along with Krushal Ahuja aka Anirudh as the main protagonist, and Chandani Sharma will essay the character of Arshi in the show. The storyline takes a compelling twist as Anirudh, joined by Choton, orchestrates a plan to take Jhanak, leading to unexpected consequences.

Earlier, Anirudh blackmailed Guruji to teach Jhanak dance but he did not want him to accept her as his daughter and gave her every right. He just wanted him to teach her skills and let her be independent like every other student. Guruji realized Jhanak has capability as Anirudh had said after watching her dancing skills. However, he could not teach her as it would ruin everything. He decided to teach her on only condition that the truth wouldn't get revealed.
Now, Jhanak yells at Anirudh, threatening to kill herself if he does not set her free from all her problems. He asks her what specifically happened because he does not understand what is happening. She wants to be the person that Guruji ought to rush behind her to meet, and Anirudh requests that she should prove herself and stick up for it.
She feels that Anirudh is smart enough to leave her and Chotan in front of the family to get scolded. He requests her to stay calm since, once inside, she will find out everything. Anirudh's father, Shubh sees Jhanak and Chotan with Anirudh. He thinks about how Anirudh met them.
