MUMBAI: Star Plus, a premier entertaining channel known to deliver extraordinary content and venture into unexplored territory, has brought its audience a new show, Jhanak. Hiba Nawab will be seen essaying the titular role of Jhanak in the show, along with Krushal Ahuja aka Anirudh as the main protagonist, and Chandani Sharma will essay the character of Arshi in the show.
Tanuja, Anirudh's mother, and Bipasha are unhappy with Jhanak because of the differences in Anirudh and Arshi's relationship as a result of her.
Jhanak is made to work as a housemaid and is not given the same respect as family members.
Anirudh will not tolerate the way the rest of the family treats her; thus things are becoming awful.
The family's younger generation intends to invite Jhanak along when they go out to lunch.
Jhanak will not be able to blend in with the group since she is unable to eat with chopsticks and upsets everyone around her by spilling food on Anirudh.
